QUINCY, IL -- Traveling in and out of Quincy just got a little easier.

Cape Air has secured a code share agreement with American Airlines.

The code share will allow passengers to check their bag once to their final destination.

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin said, "That means that those wanting to use the local Cape Air and then travel on using American Airlines will find even more convenience. This Shows commitment to quality air service in downstate and western Illinois and it also means that those on it are going to have easier access to many cities and nations around the world."

Cape Air will begin air service in Quincy on November 8th.
