The flu bug is hitting another Tri State Area School District, this time the South Shelby School District is cancelling classes for the rest of the week.

We spoke to the district and they said on Tuesday 132 students were out ill.

The total enrollment for the district is 739 students.

So today, that meant about 17 percent of the kids were absent.

The district says they just want to get the kids away from each other.

Classes will resume on Monday November 16th.
