Quincy, IL -- It's that time of year..when you go through your storage closets, dust off the boxes and decorate the house with some holiday spirit.
If you need some new ideas or just want to browse around...Quincy Senior High School was the place to be this weekend.
They hosted the 41st annual Quincy Service League holiday gift show.
This fundraiser event provided ideas to people who want to spice up their homes or offices with some good holiday fun.
And for those looking to save money this year, organizers say you can get it all from decorations to gifts for every family member to fill under the Christmas tree.
"This is definitely a one stop shop we have vendors that range in price from small bracelets that range from $5 on up to large items for the home décor that range up to $100," said Jamie Scholz, Holiday Gift Show Chair.
18 merchants sold not only Christmas items, but toys, games, jewelry and even some specialty foods to sample and even buy.
One of those is Sweet Sue's Homemade Fudge from Fort Madison, Iowa.
They've been a regular at the show for about 10 years serving up dozens of kinds of fudge including cranberry, rum raisin, and raspberry cheesecake.
"We notice every year our business gets better and better because we have a lot of returns because of the quality of fudge," said Maggie Vest.
Money raised during this event goes back into community programs in need, such as Chaddock, YWCA, and big brothers big sisters program.
They even award 4 $1,000 scholarships each year.
If you missed out on the show it continues Sunday from 10 am to 4pm.
