Congregation moves to new home

QUINCY, Illinois- Quincy's Unity Church has a new name and a new home.

Recently the church sold it's former home at 9th and Monroe to the Crossing Church.

Now the congregation has moved into a temporary home in the Pear Tree Villa at 325 South 8th street.

Along with the move to a new location comes a new name.

The congregation is now called the Unity Spirtual Life Center.

Unity's spirtual leader Ron Fritts says the new name is a better reflection of their mission.

Along with a meeting center the new facility has a library and bookstore.

The first service at the new facility was Tuesday evening.
