John Hibbert gets probation and community service

QUINCY, ILL -- A former Adams County Illinois board member avoids jail time after being found guilty on charges of financial exploitation of an elderly person.

John Hibbert was sentenced to two years of probation, 100 hours of community service and $2,500 in fines.

Hibbert took money from several accounts that belonged to a 93 year old woman.

Hibbert will pay the victim about $1,100 for penalties her accounts suffered.
