JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The city of Thayer in southern Missouri has won a $2.1 million grant and a $2.1 million loan for wastewater improvements.
The projects are being funded with federal stimulus money.
The city will use the grant and loan for wastewater treatment facility improvements and to rehabilitate the wastewater collection system. The project is expected to be finished in February 2011.
The state Department of Natural Resources says it will administer the grant and loan funds.
