Mo. to add 25 Highway Patrol troopers in January

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Missouri will have 25 new Highway Patrol troopers on the road next year.

Troopers who graduated last week from the patrol's law enforcement academy are to report for duty Jan. 4.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says nine of the new troopers also received associate degrees of applied science from Mineral Area College based on their course work at the academy.
