It's just two days before Christmas, but some people are already looking toward election day.
In Illinois, the primary election is just about 40 days away.
Dr. Robert Marshall is running for a U-S Senate seat.
Marshall is a Radiologist in the Kankakee area and a father of four.
He's also a Vietnam veteran and serves on his local board of trustees.
He also ran for Congress eleven years ago.
"I'm a physician, we're interested in healthcare reform. We are for a strong public optionh that'll decrease the premiums we think by 50 to 60 percent. The final bill may not have that by the way If it doesn't, we'll continue to fight for that if I'm elected," says Marshall.
Marshall also wants to decrease the Medicare age to 60.
He also tells me he's the only democratic candidate that is opposed to the Cap and Trade bill.
