DES MOINES, IOWA (AP) -- U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is in Iowa to promote healthy eating.
The former Iowa governor plans to tour a Hy-Vee supermarket Monday morning to learn about the company's work to educate its customers about food nutrition.
That's been a frequent topic for Vilsack since he became agriculture secretary.
Vilsack has called for consumers to have access to nutrition information so they can make educated choices about the food they eat.
