(AP) -- ST. LOUIS (AP) - Two gunmen opened fire inside a St. Louis home, leaving two people dead less than an hour into the New Year.

The victims were identified as 19-year-old Chuncy Prinn and 20-year-old Versail Kennell, both of St. Louis. Witnesses told police that one of the shooters entered through the front door, while the second entered the house through the back.

Police say it appears four weapons were fired.
