Truck gets stuck hanging over bridge in Waterloo
(AP) -- WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - A pickup truck has become stuck hanging over a bridge in downtown Waterloo.
Emergency crews were working to remove the truck Saturday morning. No injuries were immediately reported. The truck apparently skidded on ice on U.S. Highway 218 and rolled up a snow bank near the bridge's barrier rail. Its front wheels ended up hanging off the north end of the bridge.
Waterloo police were blocking traffic under the bridge to keep cars from traveling under the truck. Traffic on the bridge was moving steadily.
