QUINCY, ILL. -- The city of Quincy tested its weather alert sirens again Tuesday, January 12th.

This time the test was successful.

You'll remember a monthly test of the sirens was done a week ago, Tuesday, January 5th, and four out of the seven sirens did not activate.

We spoke with a lieutenant from the Quincy Fire Department who told us an antenna malfunctioned during the first test.

The antenna at the central fire station was repaired and all seven weather alert sirens activated during the test this morning.
