Keokuk, Ia -- People from all over have soared into Keokuk this weekend for the 26th annual Bald Eagle Appreciation Days.

There is something for everyone.

Inside the River City Mall there are displays, seminars, Native American dances, and arts and crafts.

Or if you opt to be a little closer to the action, you call pull out the binoculars and sight see America's favorite feathery friend along the river front.

Hundreds of bald eagles flock to this part of the country annually.

Especially during these colder months where they migrate following open waters in search for food.

A prime spot is below the dams along the Mississippi river if you want to get a good shot.

Events continue Sunday starting at 9 am and go until 5 pm.

For those who want to view the majestic creature, professionals are available at Victory Park and Hubinger Landing to answer any questions.
