CHICAGO, ILL. (AP) -- Next week is another busy one for candidates running for Illinois governor and U.S. Senator.

They've got a slate of debates scheduled as the Feb. 2 primary nears.

Candidates in both races will square off in debates in Chicago, Carbondale and Champaign.

On Tuesday, the Democrats running for governor square off in Chicago.

The Democrats running for President Barack Obama's old Senate seat meet up that same night in Carbondale.

Republicans running for governor debate Wednesday in Champaign.

Time is running out for the candidates to get their message out to voters.

The primary is only about two weeks away.
