FERRIS, ILL. -- The First Christian Church of Ferris, Ill. is selling cookbooks to support Haiti relief.

The church youth group had begun selling the cookbooks, "Ferris Cooks For Haiti," a month ago to raise funds to support a group of children at a school at Christianville, Haiti.

The proceeds still will go through Christianville directly to the children and their families for relief, even though the school was destroyed in the earthquake.

The cookbooks are available through the church (217-746-3401) or you can buy a cookbook by calling Marilyn Fox at (217) 357-2539 or Dave Aanenson at (217) 357-3003.

The books cost $13 each, and the church is asking for $3 for postage as well.
