ORANGE CITY, IOWA (AP) -- Authorities in Sioux County say a22-year-old former convenience store clerk will spend a week in jail and two years on probation for stealing scratch-off lottery
tickets from his former employer.

Prosecutors say David Ryan Lewison of Hawarden was caught on surveillance tapes taking 220 of the tickets from the Kum & Go shop last Nov. 1. They say Lewison scratched off all the tickets and redeemed the winning ones for $120.

As part of his sentence, Lewison was ordered to reimburse Kum & Go for the tickets he stole, and to pay $120 back to the Iowa Lottery for his winnings on the stolen tickets.
