Raising money to help his home country

CATON, MO. -- A member of the Culver-Stockton College community was affected by Haiti's earthquake.

The men's soccer coach, Mathurin Stanley lived in Haiti for 18 years.  He tells KHQA rice and cooking oil are essential. Stanley's family is ok, but he feels a need to help out his home country.

"I think right now, it's good to help those people that deeply need, especially after this earthquake, we desperately need help," said Stanley.

If you'd like to help Haiti, Culver-Stockton College has set up a bank account for relief funds.  Just mail a check to the college. Be sure to indicate that your donation is for Haiti relief.

Culver-Stockton College address:

1 College Hill, Canton, MO 63435-1299 (573) 288-5221
