Says he's working to come up with solution
HANNIBAL, MO. -- U.S. Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer made a stop in Hannibal Wednesday.
The Congressman toured the Continental Cement Company. He met with company officials to discuss their concerns about their business and how to keep jobs in America. We also talked to Luetemeyer about a challenge rural ambulance districts face.
Tuesday we told you that the Clark County ambulance district could lose 21% of its income. That's about $25,000 dollars. The reason they're running out of money is because the extra money the federal government gave them to make up for their lack of income ended last year.

We asked Congressman Luetkemeyer about this. Here is what he had to say.
"We are in discussion with other folks about that as well as the association representing various groups interested in this particular issue and are working with them to try and find a resolution to this situation. We're gonna keep working on it," Luetkemeyer said.
We also asked Congressman Luetkemeyer when funding will be made available for lock and dams in Missouri. He told us it's not a priority for the Obama administration. He says the focus now is helping businesses stay in business and creating jobs.
