SPRINGVILLE, IOWA (AP) -- The Iowa State Patrol says a Cedar Rapids woman was killed when she drove into the back of a school bus near Springville.
The bus driver and children on the Springville School District bus were not injured in the crash Wednesday afternoon.
The state patrol says the car driven by 39-year-old Lynn Mota failed to stop as it approached the bus, which was stopped, with flashers on, at a farm drive two miles south of Springville on U.S. Highway 151. The car became lodged under the bus, and Mota was trapped.
