CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Utility crews are working to restore power to tens of thousands of homes and businesses still in the dark after a winter storm last week.

Blustery weather in Maine is pushing the numbers up Monday. That state has about 15,000 people without power.

More than a million people lost electricity at the height of the storm Friday. New Hampshire and New York state are now each reporting about 50,000 customers without power.

Officials in Massachusetts reported fewer than 1,000 outages Monday. Nearly all power has been restored in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Vermont.
