Fire at Paloma business

PALOMA, ILL. -- Fire struck Az Etch Works on U-S 24 on the east edge of Paloma about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 2nd.

The Central Adams and Camp Point Fire Departments were called to the scene.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff's Department rerouted traffic on U-S 24 because of heavy smoke.

There was nobody in the trailer at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.

The trailer is being called a complete loss.

The state fire marshall has been called in to investigate the fire.
