KEOSAUQUA, IOWA (AP) -- Sen. Tom Harkin has announced that a loan of $3,871,000 and grant of $100,000 have been awarded to the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua for the expansion and rehabilitation of the existing facilities.
The Iowa Democrat said Tuesday in Washington that the funding comes through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Community Facility Program.
This project will include the relocation and expansion of the dietary department, redesign of the existing clinical space, expansion of the cardiac rehabilitation program and other updates throughout the hospital.
