Entries being accepted for St. Patrick's Day parade

QUINCY, ILL. -- The 24th annual St. Patrick's Day parade will be held in Quincy on Saturday, March 13. 

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at 12th and Maine Street and end at 5th and Maine Streets. 

The parade lineup will take place from 12th to 24th on Maine beginning at 10 a.m.

Parade organizers and originators, Jeff Dorsey and Dennis Oliver, still are accepting entries and can be reached by calling (217) 223-5292 or by e-mailing jdorsey@hqradio.com or doliver@hqradio.com

The parade is open to all people and businesses; entry is free.  All entries must wear something green or have green attached to their entry.  There are more than 70 entries so far.
