Quincy, IL -- Green thumbs in the tri-states are starting to think about the Spring and Summer planting season...And the 15th annual Gardener's Palette at John Wood Community College was there to help spruce some ideas.

The University of Illinois extension sponsored event is held on the 1st Saturday every March.

This year's theme...Successful Secrets Revealed.

People heard trials, errors, and successes from master gardeners.

There were also local vendors selling such things as handmade soaps, tea, honey, and organic products.

In honor of the 15th year there were 15 topics discussed, from looking at bees amazing role in gardens and organic garden tips to creating attractive gardens as well as decorative uses for herbs.
