KAHOKA, MO. -- A Clark County Missouri woman is under arrest tonight on charges of elderly abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Linda Gargus is being held on a $35,000 cash only bond for an incident that started back in February.

Clark County deputies and other agencies responded to a report of elderly abuse on February 23rd.

Gargus' mother was in the hospital with injuries, police say, which were due to neglect.

Gargus' mother passed away from those wounds this past Thursday.
