CHICAGO, ILL. (AP) -- U.S. Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is coming to Chicago to speak on health care overhaul.
Sebelius is scheduled to speak Tuesday afternoon at the National Council on Aging-American Society on Aging conference.
Her remarks come as the White House makes a final push toward passing President Barack Obama's health care package.
The legislation would provide health insurance to tens of millions who currently have none and would ban insurance companies from denying coverage for pre-existing conditions.
It would require most people to obtain insurance and would subsidize premiums for poor and middle-income Americans.
Sebelius speaks at a conference that's expected to draw more than 3,000 attendees.
The conference runs through Friday.
