QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Humane Society received a special grant to help the over-population of cats.

The Build-a-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation grant will fund the "No More Mother's Day" cat spay promotion.

A similar neutering program was done back in February.

The cost is only $10 and includes vaccinations.

Space is limited and you must pre-register.

The cat spay program will take place April 19 and 26, and May 10.

You must be an Adams County resident to quality for this program.
