QUINCY, ILL. -- Chicago may not have landed the 2016 Olympics, but Quincy has landed a six time Olympic medalist.

Quincy Medical Group has recently teamed up with sprinter Jackie Joyner-Kersee, who's from the St. Louis area.

Joyner-Kersee wants to help QMG promote overall health and well being in the community, and one of her first events will be attending the Bridge the Gap race in May.

She's also taking a big part in the World Class Speed and Agility Camp that'll be held in June.

"Jackie's a really hands on person. We're really excited. It's not something she's just putting her name on. She's actually going to be at the camp and doing some coaching and working with the kids to get her message across," says Dr. Anthony Biggs.

For more information on that camp, you can contact Quincy Medical Group.

By the way, Joyner-Kersee will return to Quincy in the fall to speak to kids about living with asthma and the childhood obesity epidemic.
