Cape Air has announced a new marketing partnership with American Airlines.

Beginning April 6, 2010 passengers will be able to use American Airlines tickets to fly between Quincy and Lambert Field when connecting with another American Airlines flight at Lambert Field in St. Louis.

Quincy Mayor John Spring says he is pleased with the new agreement.

The airline has been flying out of Quincy since November of last year. Cape Air has six flights a day out of the Quincy Regional Airport to Saint Louis. The airline hopes to add a Chicago flight before the end of this year.
