HANNIBAL, MO. -- KHQA has learned Manuel Cazares will plead guilty on April 6 in St. Charles County, Mo.
Cazares, 32, is the illegal immigrant accused of killing two people in Hannibal last year.
Cazares is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the deaths of his former girlfriend, Amanda Thomas, 27, and her friend Carl Patrick Epley, 25.
Both were stabbed to death at Thomas' home.
Police say Cazares confessed, blaming jealousy.
His illegal status wasn't discovered until after his arrest.
Marion County prosecuting attorney Tom Redington would not say whether Cazares will plead guilty to the same or lesser charges.
