First time using this kind of sale for cookies

QUINCY, ILL. -- Your chances to get Girl Scout Cookies this year are running out, but one Quincy Troop gave motorists a great chance to pick theirs up Saturday, April 3rd.

The 'Cadettes' of Troop 5258 based out of Faith Presbyterian Church in Quincy held a drive up cookie sale near 30th and Broadway.

This is the first time a sale like this has been held.

Shortly after noon the girls had sold $375 worth of cookies.

Troops only get a portion of that money, so this troop was hoping to make about $150 Saturday.

We were told this sale actually brought more men out to buy cookies.

The cookie supply is running out in Quincy so you may only have until next week to pick yours up.
