(AP) -- As the search continues for a missing Iowa State University student, his classmates have found a new way to raise awareness about his disappearance.

Red wristbands with the words, "Find Jon. Live fully." are being distributed on campus in honor of 21-year-old Jonathan Lacina.

Lacina was last seen on Jan. 22 leaving a friend's apartment in Ames.

Shirley Keenan created the wristbands after talking to Lacina's family about what could be done to create awareness about the search.

Keenan says the wristbands are red because it's one of Iowa State's colors and because Lacina used it in his artwork. Lacina is a graphic design student.

His family has offered a reward for information that leads to his location.
