CHICAGO (AP) -- It's tax season in Illinois and the experts at Cook County Health and Hospitals System have tips for residents to battle any stress as they prepare tax forms.

Doctors with the health system say tax season doesn't have to be a stressful time of year. But if it is, they recommend taking proactive measures to alleviate the pressure.

The hospital system says its doctors suggest getting exercise to burn adrenaline and reduce stress.

Doctors also suggest getting enough sleep and skipping caffeine to avoid agitation and anxiousness.

The doctors also say stress can lead to raiding the refrigerator and eating unhealthy foods.
