BLOOMINGTON, ILL. (AP) -- The Illinois Farm Bureau is warning that grain bins could be especially hazardous this spring.
Because last year's harvest was late and wet, the grain in bins is likely to be damp.
That can cause it to clump together or stick to walls.
Those clumps and walls could collapse suddenly, burying a careless farmer underneath.
The Farm Bureau says five people in Illinois died in grain-related accidents in 2008.
