VERSAILLES, ILL. -- News release from Brown County Superintendent Merle Kenady:
A Brown County School District school bus was involved Tuesday afternoon in a one vehicle accident on a blacktop road north of Versailles.
The bus ran off the right side of the road and ended up in a ditch on its right side. Twelve students were on the bus at the time.
The Illinois State Police, local law enforcement authorities, the fire department, and the Brown County Ambulance responded to the accident.
No injuries were reported and students were released to their parents.
