DES MOINES, IOWA (AP) -- A homecoming ceremony is set for Friday at Camp Dodge in Johnston for 80 Iowa Army National Guard soldiers returning from Iraq.

The soldiers of the 294th Area Support Medical Company will be welcomed home at 3 p.m.

The medical company, based at Camp Dodge, was mobilized last June.

The guard says in Iraq, the company supported a program that provided medical care for 4,500 detainees and ensured that more than 2,000 coalition soldiers were fit for duty.
