QUINCY, ILL --

Earth Day is Thursday and one Quincy business has a new exciting green product made from recycled material.

Gifts by Grawe has a line of Luxcraft poly lumber outdoor furniture made from recycled milk jugs built by Amish craftsmen.

It's a way of turning an unusable by-product into something useful.

The milk jugs are ground, a little color is added along with UV protection so they don't fade in the sun and come out looking like colored lumber.

It's maintenance free and just requires a hose to clean off.

The lumber is then made into very comfortable chairs, tables, gliders and much more.

The furniture comes in 14 different colors and can be custom made with free delivery in Quincy,

They are the only business in the area to carry this product.

You can stop by their store on Main Street to check them out or you can find them on Facebook under Gifts by Grawe.
