Outlines plans in Macon and Quincy
QUINCY, ILL. -- We now know more about the presidential visit this week.
On Wednesday afternoon, President Obama will tour Poet Biorefining in Macon, MO.
He's expected to talk to workers about what they are experiencing during these tough economic times and share ideas for rebuilding our economy in the long term.
After that, the President will tour a local farm and visit with the family who operates the farm.
Later, he'll speak in Quincy here at the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center.
That is open to the public, and tickets will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis Tuesday starting at 11:30 in the morning.
You'll need to go to the York Street Entrance of the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center.
On Wednesday, doors to the event will open for public with tickets at 1:00 PM.
The President isn't scheduled to speak until shortly after four.
