Red Cross Heroes Campaign

QUINCY, ILL. -- The Adams County chapter of the American Red Cross wrapped up it's "Heroes" campaign Tuesday.

The campaign was able to raise just over $49,000. The Heroes campaign raises money to help support the chapter's ability to provide assistance to the residents of Adams County. The campaign was able to exceed it goal of $39,000.

Co-Chairman Mike Lavery said, "The fact that we've exceeded the goal is going to be very helpful for the ongoing solid operation of the chapter."

In its seventh year the campaign had help from over 100 businesses and organizations.
