Severe weather hit many parts of the Tri-States overnight.

From Missouri to Iowa, KHQA received reports of road closures because of heavy rain.

The Fort Madison Police Department reported to KHQA that many streets in that city were flooded, and some creeks were out of their banks.

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution and to watch out for floating debris like tree limbs, which can be difficult to see underwater.

As of 3:30 a.m. Thursday, more than 1200 homes in Henderson County, Illinois were without power, according to the Ameren website.  As of 11:10 a.m., the website reported only 16 customers still without electricity.  Adams County had 178 customers without power, and Hancock County reported 96 customers without power early Thursday morning; as of 11:10 a.m., all power had been restored, according to Ameren.
