QUINCY, ILL. -- The following is a press release from the Quincy Park District:

Deadline for discount on swimming season passes is May 28th.

Indian Mounds Pool and Wavering Aquatic Facility both open for the summer on Saturday, May 29, and swimmers can save on summertime fun by buying a season pass before Friday, May 28.

A season pass for each pool is typically $65, but a $10 discount is applied to each pass bought before May 28. People who buy a season pass must stop by the Quincy Park District's offices to have a photo ID made.

Indian Mounds Pool is open at 11 a.m. daily and closes at 6:30 p.m. on weeknights, 7 p.m. on weekends. The admission price is $3.75 for children under age 17 and for seniors, and $4.25 for adults. Wavering Aquatic Center is open at 1 p.m. weekdays and at noon on weekends, and it closes at 7 p.m. each night.
