Miss Quincy’s Outstanding Teen and Pre-Teen to Compete

at Miss Illinois Outstanding Teen/Pre-Teen State Pageant

QUINCY, ILL. -- Miss Quincy’s Outstanding Teen, Emily Doane, and Miss Quincy’s Outstanding Pre-Teen, Ali Nicole Browning, will be competing for the opportunity of a lifetime on Sunday, May 30 at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield when they participate in the Miss Illinois Outstanding Teen and Pre-Teen Pageant.

Emily Doane was crowned Miss Quincy’s Outstanding Teen on March 27 at the 2010 Miss Quincy Pageant held at the Quincy Community Theatre. Click here for more background information. The winner will go on to compete at the national level for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen in Orlando, Florida in August 2010.   She says, “If given the opportunity to be Miss Illinois Outstanding Teen, I will rise to the occasion and be a role model for all of those around me.  I will work hard to make my community, state, and country a better place, and I will teach everyone that all children deserve a quality education.  As Miss Illinois Outstanding Teen 2010, I will help make the youth in my state find their voices.”

Ali Nicole Browning was crowned Miss Quincy’s Outstanding Pre-Teen at the 2010 Miss Quincy Pageant.  Click here for more background information. She will compete at the Miss Illinois Outstanding Pre-Teen Pageant with 13 other contestants from all over the state of Illinois in the areas of private interview, scholastic achievement, community service, evening gown, sportswear, on-stage question, and talent.  She says, “Being crowned Miss Illinois Outstanding Pre-Teen would be a dream come true! I would be very proud to represent Illinois by being a role model for young girls and encouraging them to volunteer and showcase their talents.”
