KEOKUK, IA. -- Work has stated on the new Southside Boat Club in Keokuk. Crews have brought in over 100 truckloads of dirt to the area.

The dirt has raised the elevation about three feet. That will allow the building to be above the 100 year flood level predictions.

Crews will work to level the ground in the next weeks. Constructions could begin in the next 30 days.
