QUINCY, ILL. -- Seniors from all over the Tri-States got answers to their questions today at the Senior Expo in Quincy.

More than 22 hundred folks visited with exhibitors from 75 local businesses and agencies to find out more about services available to them.

Those services ranged from medicare help to helpful products geared towards enhancing the lives of seniors.

Organizers say these days folks are looking for ways to stay independent and enrich their lives during retirement.

Todd Shackleford with the West Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging said, "Most seniors want to stay in their own homes as long as possible but they also want to prepare for the future so this expo has both sides of that coin."

KHQA was proud to be the media sponsor for the senior expo.  A special thanks to all the vendors and also thank you to those viewers who stopped by to see what Quincy businesses have to offer.
