QUINCY, ILL. -- Members of the Quincy community came together Sunday to enjoy tea and the dedication of the new Chaddock house.
The Gene Simon Family Cottage has been named in honor of Chaddock's former CEO.
The dedication was under a tent overlooking the cottage.
Family is on the top of Simon's priorities, and he says he's just glad that his values will be carried on through the house.
"My highest value in life is family. I have been very blessed to have a family that unconditionally loves me. My values for family were able to be implimented vocationally through my work with Chaddock," Simon said.
