QUINCY, ILL. -- More then thirty-five hundred passengers have flown Cape Air since it came to Quincy in November.

That's an average of five hundred a month.

If this continues then more money could be coming to the airport.

The airport needs 10 thousand passengers a year, then the airports entitlement funds would increase to a million dollars.

Those dollars would be used for the airport improvement and maintenance.

Airport director Marty Stegeman thinks that with the way Cape Air passenger numbers continue to grow, 2011 looks great for meeting that ten thousand passenger mark.
