Winner to Receive $250,000 Prize
QUINCY, ILL. -- While someone from Michigan won the $36 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday June 11, 2010, a winning second place ticket was sold in Quincy, Ill.
The ticket was sold at County Market Express, located at 432 S 36th St.
The second place $250,000 winner matched all five numbers, but missed the Mega Ball.
The winning numbers were 6, 13, 33, 34 and 42 with a Mega Ball number of 25 and a Megaplier number of 3.
If the winner had opted to play the Megaplier, he or she would have won $1 million.
The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately one in 176 million. The odds of winning any of the Mega Millions prizes are approximately 1 in 40.
So far the winner has not come forward. The next Mega Millions drawing will take place Tuesday, June 15, at 10 p.m. CT with the jackpot reset to $12 million.
