NIOTA, ILL. -- KHQA's Rajah Maples spent Monday evening driving through Hancock and McDonough Counties.

She saw quite a bit of standing water in that area. 

In fact, the kids had quite a fun time jumping and splashing through it in ditches in Niota.

We talked with a chiropractor in that community who said he saw three funnel clouds cross over Niota.

Ben O'Dell says it's not unusual for him see funnel clouds cross the Mississippi River from the Ft. Madison area during severe weather.
