Jim Dewey called KHQA and Hannibal is going to be putting in all 5 flood gates Tuesday afternoon at 1:30.
The Mississippi River is expected to crest at 22.9 ft on Thursday morning.

KHQA has heard that WTAD news spoke with John Hark, Marion County Emergency Management Director Tuesday morning, June 22nd.
Hark says the flood gates at Hill and Center Streets definitely will be put in by Wednesday.
He also expects river level predictions to increase, which will necessitate installing Hannibal's other three flood gates.
