QUINCY, ILL. -- Tuesday morning a vehicle was stopped at 12th and Lind for a traffic violation.

While stopped, both the driver and the passenger gave officers consent to search the vehicle.

The passenger was Sara A Bibby, age 21, and the driver was Thomas L. Brown, age 32.

Upon search of the vehicle officers located Methamphetamine, Methamphetamine precursors, and Methamphetamine manufacturing materials.

Also in the vehicle was Bibby’s 2 year old child.

The driver, Brown, and the passenger Bibby were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor, Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material, and Methamphetamine Related Child Endangerment.

Both are lodged in the Adams County Jail at this time.
